2. Choose the ideal location and ambience
The OuiLove Proposal Box adapts to every wish - whether you plan to propose at home, in a hotel room, outdoors, or at a meaningful location tied to your story.
Check the venue lighting and make sure there is enough space to lay out each element to create an intimate, warm atmosphere.
3. Step-by-step setup
Synthetic rose petals: separate them and scatter them on the floor according to the atmosphere you want to create. Use the petals to draw the path leading to the "yes". Consider placing some around the room (indoors) and/or around the proposal spot. Very sensitive to wind, it is preferable not to place them on the floor when the weather is risky. If you are indoors, be mindful of drafts created by opening/closing the front door.
Flower garlands: arrange them around the proposal, along the path or at the edge of the proposal area. They can be hung over a headboard, a window, on a wall or formed into an arch above the proposal spot. Garlands add refinement and harmony to the setting. Gently unroll and unfold each garland. If a flower detaches from its base, press it back into place.
LED candles: place them around the room or at the heart of the decor for a soft, warm glow. Vary heights, sizes and positions for a magical effect. For example, arrange them in a heart shape with rose petals and a flower garland inside. Keep large wax-look LED candles away from heat and direct sunlight. The faux wax is sensitive to high temperatures and may deform.
LED string lights: use them to mark the path to the proposal and to elevate the scene - they add a sparkling touch that enhances the romantic atmosphere. Press gently on the battery compartment lid to remove it and do not force it open.
The “Marry Me” letters: if you chose the version with decorative letters, place them prominently at the centre of the scene to reveal your intention with elegance and surprise.
- Attention: During transport, internal LEDs may unclip from their sockets. If this occurs on first use, remove the batteries, then remove the small white spot (round white piece) from the letter by turning it counter-clockwise. Use tweezers to gently extract the LED bulb and clip it into the socket before screwing it back in place.
